Dear Friends…

Welcome to our web site. I hope you find it informative. So many people ask me how Restaurant Plan B came to be. Well, the short story is…. I was trying to buy a bed and breakfast, and for many reasons, it never came to pass. I was in Florida visiting my 97 year old grandfather who said… “enough with this about a bed and breakfast just open a restaurant.” So, late one night I went on line and found this amazing space for rent. I came down to see, and fell in love with the space, the city and the people. I then made the decision that the second half of my life would be here in Asbury Park. Now, I just needed to find a chef, who could help me fulfill my dream. I put an ad on Craig’s List, and John Brandsema answered. John, is a young chef, with a great talent.

Our food is fun, imaginative, sophisticated. Our space is relaxed, trendy. This mix of senses have you sitting here…enjoying our food…enjoying your bottle of wine…meeting new friends. All our food is prepared fresh and to order. All is made in house. Our dinner menu changes on a monthly basis. Our goal is to have you come often to try our creations.
